You have an iPhone but
you don't know whether it is Factory Unlocked or carrier locked. Many
time in some situations like buying a used iPhone or jailbreaking /
unlocking, you'll need to know if your iPhone is free from carrier and
it can run sim cardof all carriers. Many online services provide this information but it is not free, they charge a certain amount of fee for providing such information
especially Unlock status, But don't worry today I'll show you a way to
know if the iPhone is Factory Unlocked or Locked and this free.
Step 2: Enter your 15 digit IMEI Number
(If you don't know How to get IMEI number then from your iPhone, Go to Settings > General > About and scroll down for imei)
Step 3: Now hit Enter and wait till it displays information.
Step 4: After some time it will display IMEI info of your device.
Compare the Device ID1 with your IMEI and Device ID2 with your Serial number and make sure it matches. If your Device ID1 and Device ID2 does not match with IMEI and Serial number then please contact Apple and ask them if your product is original or fake.
